Our Community
Here at Hudson Valley Preservation we are passionate about our craft, building strong communities, and leaving the world a better place. This goal inspired us to support our community in a variety of ways including the founding of TradesUp, a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to help build the next generation of craftspeople.

As tradespeople are retiring and fewer youth are entering the trades, contractors and homeowners are facing a shortage of skills and experience. Now is the time for communities to mobilize to ensure the transfer of knowledge to the next generation. TradesUp, a nonprofit organization founded by HVP’s Mason Lord, is building the next generation of hands-on makers, creators, and tradespeople.
